CrowdEyes strikes again at Roskilde Festival!

There is good news for all those who lose, misplace and forget their things at Roskilde Festival. This year there is help to be had, from CrowdEyes.

It is gradually more the rule than the exception that several of the participants at Distortion’s street and indoor parties experience being robbed of their wallet or even lose their bag or phone when the music blasts out of the speakers and the dancing is at its peak on the asphalt dance floor. But the free search app CrowdEyes will once again put an end to that .

When Distortion, on Wednesday 31 May, opens the doors for this year’s street party for the 19th time, it will be with CrowdEyes on the sidelines again this year.

Last year, CrowdEyes was able to help close to 100 Distortion participants to get their things back, and that is why CrowdEyes is expanding its search service again this year and offers Distortion participants help to search for everything they lose on the way, during and after the music. People, purses, bags or keys to the front door”, says Jann Kallehauge, the initiator of CrowdEyes

Matchmaking for lost items

During Distortion, CrowdEyes will be at their set up blue pavilion with lost and found written on the sides. The CrowdEyes tent will be present for street parties in Nørrebro on Wednesday and in Vesterbro on Thursday, as well as for the closed event on Refshaleøen on Friday and Saturday. During the music, it will be possible to get help from CrowdScouts to create wanted requests. Distortion participants just have to find the blue LOST & FOUND tent located at Fælledvej 25 (Nørrebro), Istedgade 60 (Vesterbro) and at the exit on Refshaleøen.

“We encourage everyone who participates in Distortion to download the free app before Wednesday afternoon and at the same time register for CrowdEye’s Facebook event. Here you can stay updated on where the “Lost & found” tent is located, as well as be updated with forgotten/lost cases during Distortion. Should the accident happen to you, we will help you make a search and maybe what you are missing is already among the many submitted items that we receive” concludes René Bang Hansen, co-founder of CrowdEyes.

The items that do not find a home for their rightful owners will be handed in to the Copenhagen Police’s Lost and Found Office at the end of week 23, and it is then the owner’s own responsibility to contact the Police and ask for the driver’s license, wallet or rucksack, etc. Items with a value above DKK 500 will be stored by the Police for up to 3 months, while items with a value below DKK 500 will only be stored for up to 4 weeks.
